PREFACE
We are familiar with many of the great titles of Mary such as Lourdes, Fatima, and Guadalupe, but there are other faces of Mary that, although less known and often honored only locally, vividly point out the universal love of Our Lady for and by all nations. Although specific to a certain time and place, these devotions, no matter how ancient, each have a striking relevance for Christians today. By looking at the other faces of Mary, we see reflected the twin jewels of the cultural diversity and universal sameness of the Catholic faith.
Introduction by Gregory John Mansour, Bishop of the Eparchy (Diocese) of St Maron of Brooklyn.
